The new 3M™ Speedglas™ G5-03 NC Pro Air Welding Helmet with Adflo PAPR is geared towards cooler, cleaner, and more comfortable welding via the industry-leading Adflo respirator and innovative Climate Control. A large viewing area with peripheral SideWindows and True-View optics offers welders a clear, expansive view of their workspace, which can be further enhanced by the addition of an optional task light specifically designed for welding.
Welding PPE Made in Sweden
Crafted in Sweden, Speedglas welding helmets offer market-leading features, quality and performance.
Wider Views
Combined with Side Windows for peripheral vision, the G5-03NC Pro lens has a large viewing area of 55 x 107mm, providing expansive views of the weld pool and your surroundings.
3M Precision Optics
3M Speedglas True View technology gives welders greater clarity, colour and contrast when looking through the welding lens. See your welds in greater detail than ever before.
Control Your Air Flow
Take control of the airflow within your helmet with Speedglas climate control! The cutting-edge helmet airduct system allows you to easily adjust the direction and volume of airflow for maximum comfort. You can make these adjustments while wearing the helmet, ensuring continuous eye, face, and respiratory protection.
Grinding and Cutting Modes
Lock the welding lens into the shade 3 light state for grinding or shade 5 for cutting, with dedicated lens modes.
Task Light for Welding
For increased visibility in low light environments, an optional helmet mounted welding light is available. For all-day use, the task light is powered by the heavy-duty Adflo battery.
Positive Pressure Respiratory Protection
The updated comfort face seal is designed to perfectly match the curves of the helmet and the face, delivering an effective positive pressure respiratory seal. Additionally, the helmet’s unique airflow pattern guarantees that filtered air is evenly distributed across the welder’s breathing zone.
Ergonomic and Comfortable
Premium head harness can be fully customised for a tailored fit. With multiple adjustment points and optimised weight distribution, the G5-03 Pro harness sets a new standard in welding comfort.
Side Windows for Welding Safety
Widen your view with Speedglas SideWindows, allowing you to see previously hidden peripheral hazards. The two shade 5 side lenses offer conventional shade 13 protection.
Suitable Across All Welding Applications
Featuring a light shade of 3, and dark shades 5, 8-12, the G5-03 NC lens is suitable for a wide range of welding applications, as well as cutting and grinding.
Reliable Switching and Arc Detection
The G5-03 TW welding lens can detect a welding arc as low as 1 amp and provides consistent light-dark switching.
Additional Neck and Head Covers
The G5-03 Pro Air is compatible with a range of extra coverage options, to suit your needs and welding environment.
Australian & New Zealand Standards Compliant
Meets Australian and New Zealand standards for high-impact face protection (AS/NZS1337.1), eye protection (AS/NZS1338.1) and respiratory protection (AS/NZS1716).
The Heavy Duty Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
Long-Life Battery with Rapid Charging
The upgraded heavy-duty Adflo battery charges 0-80% of its full capacity in just one hour. Built for professional welders, the heavy duty Adflo PAPR unit has a run time of approximately 12-14 hours, depending on conditions.
Respiratory Protection Made for Welders
Offering advanced respiratory protection specifically designed for welding, the Adflo PAPR is built to meet the demands of professional welders.
High Protection Factor
Compliant with the Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1716 for powered air respirators, the Adflo PAPR unit provides a Required Minimum Protection Factor of 50 for thermally and mechanically generated particles.
Airflow to the Breathing Zone
Filtered air is evenly distributed throughout the welding helmet, via an innovative airflow pattern. A constant flow of fresh, clean air makes for more cool and comfortable all-day welding.
Lightweight Welders' Respirator
Light on your belt, but heavy on protection, the slim Adflo PAPR is ideal for welders who require mobile respiratory protection. Perfect for working in tight spaces.
Protection from Welding Fumes and Gases
With the right type of filter, the Adflo welding respirator offers effective protection against both particles and gases, a crucial feature when protecting against welding fumes. The respirator also includes indicators that alert the welder when it's time to replace the filters and recharge the battery.
Simple Breathing Hose Connection
The Quick Release Swivel (QRS) enables one-handed connection and disconnection. Its self-adjusting length ensures that the welding hose remains close to the welder, reducing the risk of snagging on nearby objects.
Adjustable Airflow Rate
hoose between 170 litres or 200 litres per minute of airflow, for extra comfort in hot welding environments. The Adflo respirator maintains a constant flow rate, regardless of the particle filter loading or the battery charge level.
